Latin America and Caribbean

The study of the history of Latin America and the Caribbean ranges widely, covering imperial, economic, environmental, global, social, urban, rural, and intellectual history from the fifteenth to twentieth centuries. The Department has particular strengths in Argentina, Colombia, and the early modern Spanish Atlantic.
