Arno Joseph Mayer, Dayton-Stockton Professor of History, Emeritus, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Professor Mayer joined Princeton’s faculty in September of 1961 and retired in September of 1993.

Natalie Zemon Davis Passes Away at 94

Natalie Zemon Davis, Henry Charles Lea Professor of History, Emerita, passed away at the age of 94 in Toronto. She was at Princeton for eighteen years, from 1978 until she retired in 1996.
