Liz Sevcenko, "Guantanamo Public Memory Project"--- The Guantanamo Public Memory Project (http://hrcolumbia.org/guantanamo) is a multimedia documentary collaboration between the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights, and student teams from eleven university history programs. The project documents the long history of the American presence at Guantanamo Bay¬–from the war of 1898 to the current detention of accused terrorists–through video testimonies, curricula and teaching materials, digital and physical archives, and a traveling exhibit.
