Cannadine, Colley, Greene, and Garon Awarded Fellowships

David Cannadine and Linda Colley will be Visiting Fellows at the Wissenschaftskolleg in Berlin for the academic year 2021-22.

Molly Greene has been awarded a Fellowship at Dumbarton Oaks in Washington D.C. for the fall semester of 2021-2022. Her project, History in High Places, investigates the role of monasteries in incorporating remote mountainous areas of the Ottoman Empire into the imperial framework.

Sheldon Garon has been awarded a 10-month FIAS fellowship at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study, beginning in September. He will be engaged in writing his book, "When Home Fronts Became Battlegrounds: A Transnational Study of Japan, Germany, and Britain in the World Wars."
