History alumna Caroline Kitchener, a reporter for The Washington Post, has won a Pulitzer in National Reporting for her work on the abortion landscape following the fall of Roe v. Wade.

Kitchener graduated in 2014 with a concentration in History and a certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Caroline visited campus in March as a featured panelist in the Department's 'History Futures: A Career Conversation' event.
