Creager Elected Member of the American Philosophical Society

Angela N. H. Creager, Thomas M. Siebel Professor in the History of Science, has been elected to the American Philosophical Society. The honor recognizes "extraordinary accomplishments" across all fields, including Mathematical and Physical Sciences; Biological Sciences; Social Sciences; Humanities; and the Arts, Professions, Leaders in Public and Private Affairs. In 2020, the American Philosophical Society elected twenty-eight new resident Members and six international members

The Society is the oldest learned society in the United States and was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743.
