The History of Science Graduate Certificate is aimed at enabling students who are taking seminars in the Program, working closely with our faculty, and writing dissertations on aspects of the history of science, medicine, and technology to receive a formal credential in the field. Given a new opportunity provided by the Graduate School, we are pleased to announce that starting in the fall of 2019, the HOS Graduate Certificate will appear on students’ transcripts.

History of Science sits at the intersection of a wide array of disciplines and our seminars attract students from a wide array of disciplines. By design, the HOS graduate certificate is open to Princeton University Ph.D. students from any department at Princeton University. Students who have already earned an HOS Graduate Certificate have hailed from History (Christian Flow and Taylor Zaijicek), East Asian Studies (Sare ArcanliKjell EricsonJinsong Guo and W. Evan Young, German (Carolina Malagon), Classics (Jessica Wright), and Near Eastern Studies (Daniel Stolz).

We invite you to visit the HOS website for more information.
