Johanne Kjaersgaard '23 Awarded Carter Kim Combe '74 Princeton History Prize

The recipient of the Carter Kim Combe (’74) Prize for the Class of 2023 is Joanne Kjaersgaard for her spring junior paper “'For the Maintenance of Stability and Prosperity: Securing Hong Kong Exports in the Sino-British Joint Declaration of 1984," advised by Professor He Bian.

The prize is awarded to the student who writes the best second-term junior independent work in History.
