Linda Colley to Receive Honorary Degree from Queen's University Belfast

Queen's University Belfast has named its Honorary Graduates for 2019, choosing leading figures from the world of business, science, sport, academia and the arts.

Professor Linda Colley CBE, Shelby M.C. Davis 1958 Professor of History at Princeton University and member of the research committee of the British Museum, is one of the recipients this year. She will receive an honorary doctorate in literature (DLit) for distinction in history.

Past honorees include Bill Clinton (2001), Mary Robinson (1995), Archbishop Desmond Tutu (2007), Maeve Binchy (1998), and Seamus Heaney (1982).
