History Ph.D. candidate Robert Zeinstra has been awarded a 2019-2020 Harry Frank Guggenheim Dissertation Fellowship. This fellowship supports graduate students in the final year of their Ph.D. work whose research advances understanding of human violence and aggression, particularly in relation to social change, intergroup conflict, war, terrorism, crime, and family relationships.

Zeinstra's dissertation project is entitled "Bush War: Environmental Reckonings of Zimbabwe's Liberation War."
