The Carter Kim Combe (’74) Prize has been awarded to Sam Bisno '24 for his spring junior paper “'Herself and Mr. Reed': Frustration and Freedom at the Beaufort Freedman’s Bank, 1864-1873," advised by Professor Alison Isenberg.

The prize is awarded to the student who writes the best second-term junior independent work in History.
