Elizabeth is a Ph.D. student in the History of Science Program. Her research centers on the histories of mathematics and physics in the 19th and 20th centuries. She is particularly interested in scientific communities, focusing on how they are defined and established, how they interact with one another, and the ways in which "outsiders" affect them. She also retains a strong interest in the interplay between science and society, examining both the impact scientific developments have on cultures and how social movements affect scientific development.

Elizabeth graduated cum laude from Brandeis University in 2022 with a B.A. with Honors in Mathematics and a B.A. with Highest Honors in History of Science. Her undergraduate research explored the impact of Einstein’s theories of relativity within the mathematical community in the early 1900s.
