Bio/Description

Gus Mosse is a PhD student studying early America and the Atlantic world. His interests include the early Caribbean, Indigenous history, Atlantic slavery, colonial archives and imperial state formation, and family networks.  

He co-organizes the Colonial and Revolutionary Americas Workshop.

Gus holds a BA in English and an MA in the social sciences from the University of Chicago.
