Bio/Description
Tucker is a first year PhD student studying the 19th century United States and Atlantic World. Tucker’s interests include U.S. imperialism/expansionism, the urban South, popular culture, slavery, and antebellum filibustering.
Before coming to Princeton, Tucker worked as a research assistant for the University of Texas at Austin's Contextualization and Commemoration Initiative, a research group focused on the school's racial and gender history, where he also earned a B.A. in History and American Studies.
