Frank J. Korom is a professor of religion and anthropology at Boston University, as well as a faculty associate of the folklore and mythology program at Harvard University. He specializes in South Asian religions and cultures. He is the author and/or editor of ten books and over 65 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals and edited books. He also co-edits the journal Asian Ethnology, which is based at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. His current research focuses on transnational Sufism.
